MLL Cares: The Fretail Store
About six years ago now Will and I decided to implement the MLL Cares: Trusted Choice for Charities program. What is this? Our agency will donate $500 each month to a local area non-profit that is referred to us by YOU, our clients. Just email mllcares@mllins.com with the name of the charity, a quick description and contact information for the charity.
The names of the charities that are referred to us go before our MLL Charity committee that consists of a team member from our service, sales and management team and they select one recipient each month. The charities that were not selected stay on our list for the following month. The more times the same charity is referred to the more weight it is given before the committee.

This month’s recipient is: The Fretail Store
The Fretail Store’s goal has been to provide a shopping experience to those who would NEVER shop in a mall setting and they are doing it! The store is operated by volunteers and everything in the store is completely FREE.
The Fretail Store is open to the public and is stocked by donations from the community every day. They don’t require any proof of income and no appointments are needed to shop. They take gently used and washed clothing, food, diapers, personal care items and of course monetary donations. The store is open Monday-Friday 11am-1pm and closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Thank you Fretail store for all that you do for our community! We are thrilled we are able to help you continue your mission!
How can you help?
Donations of clothing, food, diapers and personal care items can only be made during store hours per mall policy. Their address is: 5530 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing MI in the Lansing Mall.
